VILLAIN? OR VIGILANTE?

We've all heard of him. Though, most photos we've attempted to take often show up blurry, or otherwise utterly unusable. We here at Gotham Gazette do hope you don't hold this against us, and continue reading the article anyways.
This man, this freak of nature, if you will, showed up in Gotham one night in December. One of his schticks, it seems. He only appears at night. What better time to commit his crimes against humanity?
Some might argue, he acts like some vigilante thinking he's better than the cops. Finding crime and beating the committers, often leaving them in a barely living state. Occasionally, his victims are found dead, though many argue that he left them alive. What freak would beat a person within an inch of their life? Criminal or not? The same kind of freak that dresses in a cape, hopping from roof to roof, and acting like a drug addict getting his fix from beating others to a pulp, that's who.
The GCPD has sent out an alert, if he's seen, he should be shot on sight. Rookie James Gordon has claimed he doesn't believe that's a wise idea, but Commissioner Loeb says to ignore the rookie, that he's in over his head. And many of us here at Gotham Gazette agree. What's Gordon's game, here, anyways? Let some crazy guy come and beat whoever he feels like?
We've seen him before, out with The Joker, or social media star Nix Degraves. Definitely keeping the wrong crowd. He's even brought a dog into it! Certainly someone who needs to have his dog taken away from him!
He's solved various crimes, sure. But the cops would have gotten to it when they were able. All this bat freak's done is anger Gotham's Underground. Many of us are terrified of him, what he'll do to us if he sees us out and about. Maybe he thinks he's doing a good deed, but there's no place for vigilantism in Gotham City. Especially from someone no better than a petty villain out for revenge.
What is the Bat Man's motive? Who is he? Why is he here? We'll update you more as the story develops.
